Accessing Study Tools
Study Tools provide self-paced learning features to help you prepare for exams and reinforce your knowledge. Access Study Tools from the dashboard or through exam-related pages.
Note: Study Tools may not appear in the main sidebar depending on your organization's configuration.
Flashcards
Create and study flashcard sets for efficient memorization.
Creating a Flashcard Set
- Click Create Set
- Enter a Title and optional Description
- Choose the Subject and Topic
- Add cards - each card has a Front (question/term) and Back (answer/definition)
- Click Save
Studying Flashcards
- Open a flashcard set and click Study
- Cards are shown using spaced repetition - you see cards you struggle with more often
- For each card:
- Read the front
- Click to reveal the back
- Rate your confidence (Easy, Good, Hard)
- Your progress is tracked per set
Managing Sets
- Edit - Add, remove, or modify cards
- Delete - Remove the set
- Progress - View your study stats and mastery percentage
Notes
Create rich-text notes organized by subject for personal study references.
Creating a Note
- Click Create Note
- Enter a Title
- Choose the Subject
- Use the rich text editor to write your note with:
- Headings, bold, italic formatting
- Bullet and numbered lists
- Code blocks
- Links
- Click Save
Managing Notes
- Notes are listed by subject and creation date
- Search notes by title or content
- Edit or Delete notes from the note list
Practice Mode
Take practice exams without affecting your actual grades.
- Practice exams use questions from your assigned subjects
- Results show immediately with correct answers
- No time limit or attempt restrictions
- Performance tracked separately from real exams
Tips
- Create flashcards for vocabulary, formulas, and key concepts
- Use spaced repetition daily for best retention - even 10 minutes a day helps
- Write notes in your own words rather than copying - this improves understanding
- Use practice mode to identify weak areas before real exams
