The 5 roles and what each can do

BeamEdUp has 5 distinct user roles, each with specific permissions and capabilities. Understanding these roles is essential for setting up your organization correctly.

Organization Admin

School owner / Principal / Director

Full control over their organization. Creates branches, manages users, configures settings, and oversees all operations.

Branch Admin

Campus head / Coordinator

Manages a specific branch (campus). Can manage users, classes, and exams within their assigned branch only.

Role Hierarchy

Roles follow a natural hierarchy. Higher roles can see and manage what lower roles do, but not vice versa. Organization Admin has the widest access, while Learner and Guardian have the most focused, task-specific access.
