Branch Configuration
Branch configuration is Step 3 of the branch creation wizard. It covers academic settings, visual branding, and terminology customization. These settings can also be updated later from the branch settings page.
Academic Settings
Academic settings control how the branch handles calendars, grading, and localization. These affect exam scheduling, report cards, and the overall user experience.

Grade Format Options
- Percentage — Scores shown as 0–100%. Common in Indian schools and coaching centers.
- GPA — Grade point average on a configurable scale (e.g., 4.0 or 10.0). Common in universities.
- Letter — Letter grades (A, B, C, D, F). Common in international curricula.
- Custom — Define your own grading scale with custom grade boundaries and labels.
White Labeling & Branding
Each branch can have its own visual identity. When learners and instructors log in to the branch portal, they see the branch's logo, colors, and tagline — giving each campus a personalized feel while remaining part of the same organization.

Terminology Customization
BeamEdUp adapts its language to match your institution's vocabulary. When you select a branch type, the platform auto-populates default terminology. You can override any of these terms to match your organization's preferred labels.
