Certificate Designer
The Certificate Designer lets you create custom certificates that are automatically generated when learners complete exams or achieve milestones. Design visually rich certificates with your organization's branding, QR code verification, and dynamic student data.
Designer Features
Template Library
Start from pre-built templates or create from scratch. Templates can be marked as default, public, or organization-private.
Drag-and-Drop Elements
Add text, images, QR codes, signatures, lines, and shapes. Position elements precisely with x/y coordinates.
Styling Options
Customize fonts, colors, opacity, borders, and rotation. Set z-index for layered designs.
Size & Layout
Choose from A4, Letter, or custom sizes. Support for portrait and landscape orientations.
Creating a Certificate Template

Open Certificate Designer
Navigate to Certificates from the sidebar. You'll see a list of existing templates.

Create or Clone a Template
Click Create Template to start fresh, or click Duplicate on an existing template to use it as a starting point.

Set Template Properties
Enter a template name, optional description, page size (A4, Letter, Custom), orientation, and background settings (color or image).

Add Design Elements
Use the toolbar to add elements: text blocks for student names and dates, images for logos, QR codes for verification, signature fields, and decorative shapes.

Position and Style Elements
Drag elements to position them, or use the properties panel to set exact x/y coordinates, width, height, rotation, font, color, and z-index.

Save and Set as Default
Click Save to store the template. Optionally mark it as the default template for automatic use when generating certificates.
Available Element Types
- Text — Static text or dynamic placeholders (student name, exam title, date, score)
- Image — Upload logos, seals, or decorative graphics. Supports PNG, JPG, and SVG
- QR Code — Auto-generated verification code linking to the certificate's online verification page
- Signature — Signature image fields for authorized signatories (principal, director, etc.)
- Lines & Shapes — Decorative borders, dividers, and background shapes
Border & Background Options
- Border Styles — Classic, Double, or Ornate borders for a formal look
- Background Color — Solid color backgrounds with full color picker support
- Background Image — Upload a background image or watermark for branded certificates
