Certificates
The Guardian Certificates page displays all certificates and achievements earned by the selected child. Certificates are awarded by the organization when learners meet specific criteria — such as passing an exam, completing a course, or achieving top scores.
Viewing Certificates
Certificates are displayed in a responsive grid layout — three columns on desktop, two on tablet, and one on mobile. Each certificate card shows the title, issue date, and verification status.
| Field | Required | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
Title | Required | text | The name of the certificate (e.g., "Mathematics Excellence Award", "Course Completion Certificate"). |
Issued Date | Required | date | The date the certificate was issued by the institution. |
Verified | Required | badge | Verification status shown as a badge — green "Verified" if the certificate has been verified by the organization, or gray "Pending" if verification is in progress. |
Verification Status
Each certificate carries a verification badge that indicates whether the issuing organization has confirmed its authenticity:
- Verified (green) — The organization has confirmed this certificate. It can be shared with confidence.
- Pending (gray) — Verification is in progress. The certificate is valid but has not yet been officially confirmed.
Common Certificate Types
- Exam Completion — Awarded when a learner passes an exam above the passing marks threshold
- Course Completion — Awarded after completing all exams in a subject or course
- Achievement Awards — Special recognition for top scores, consistent improvement, or perfect attendance
- Participation Certificates — Acknowledging participation in specific programs or events
Empty State
If the selected child has not earned any certificates yet, a placeholder with a certificate icon and a "No certificates available" message is displayed. Certificates will appear here automatically as the child meets the criteria set by the organization.
