Viewing Assigned Exams
The My Exams page lists all exams assigned to you across your classes. From here you can browse available exams, resume in-progress attempts, and view results for completed exams. The page is accessible from the sidebar under My Learning → Exams.
Exam List View
Exams are displayed as cards in a responsive grid layout. Each card shows key details at a glance and includes an action button appropriate to the exam's current status.

Subject | Optional | text | Subject area (e.g., Mathematics, English). Shows "General" if not specified. |

Difficulty | Optional | badge | Difficulty level — Easy (green), Medium (yellow), or Hard (red). |
Assigned Date | Optional | date | When the exam was assigned to you. |
Search & Filters
Use the search bar at the top to find exams by title or subject. A sort dropdown lets you order exams by date, title, or score. Filter chips below the search bar allow quick filtering by status:
- All — Shows every exam regardless of status
- Available — Exams you can start now
- Upcoming — Assigned exams not yet started
- Completed — Submitted or evaluated exams
Exam Statuses
Each exam displays a color-coded status badge indicating where it is in the lifecycle:

In Progress | Optional | in_progress | You have started this exam but have not submitted it yet. Click to resume where you left off. |
Submitted | Optional | submitted | Exam has been submitted and is awaiting grading. Auto-graded portions may already be scored. |
Completed | Optional | evaluated | All questions have been graded and your results are available. Click to view your score breakdown. |
Expired | Optional | expired | The exam window has closed and you did not submit in time. Contact your instructor if you believe this is an error. |
Missed | Optional | missed | You did not attempt the exam before the deadline passed. |
Exam Actions
The action button on each card changes based on the exam status:
- Start Exam — For available exams. Takes you to the exam detail and instructions page.
- Resume Exam — For in-progress exams. Returns you directly to the exam-taking interface where you left off.
- View Result — For completed exams. Opens the result page with your score breakdown.
