Branch Settings & Branding
After a branch is created, Organization Admins and Branch Admins can update its settings at any time. The branch settings page provides access to branding, status management, timezone, language, and display preferences.
Accessing Branch Settings
To access branch settings, navigate to the Branches list in the Organization Portal sidebar, then click on a branch to open its detail page. Switch to the "Settings" tab to view and modify the branch configuration.
Branch Status
Each branch has a status that controls its visibility and availability:
- Active — The branch is fully operational. Users can log in, take exams, and access all features.
- Under Construction — The branch is being set up. Only admins can access it. Useful during initial configuration before going live.
- Inactive — The branch is temporarily disabled. Users cannot log in or access branch resources. Data is preserved.
Logo & Branding
Each branch can have its own visual identity, separate from the organization's default branding. This is especially useful for multi-branch organizations where each campus has its own logo and color scheme.
1
Open Branch Settings
Navigate to the branch detail page and click the "Settings" tab. This shows the current branch configuration.
2
Click Edit Branch
Click the "Edit" button to open the branch editing form. All configurable fields become editable.
3
Update Branding
Upload a new logo, change the primary and secondary brand colors using the color picker, and update the tagline. Changes preview in real time.
4
Save Changes
Click "Save" to apply the updated branding. Changes take effect immediately for all users in the branch.
Branding Elements
- Logo — Displayed on the branch portal header, login page, and reports. Accepts PNG, JPEG, JPG, and SVG formats.
- Primary Color — Used for headers, navigation, buttons, and active states throughout the portal.
- Secondary Color — Used for accents, highlights, and supporting visual elements.
- Tagline — A short motto displayed below the branch name on the portal.
Timezone & Language
Timezone and language settings affect how dates, times, and content are displayed for all users in the branch.
- Timezone — Controls exam start/end times, deadline calculations, and timestamp display. Important for organizations with branches across different time zones.
- Language — Sets the default interface language for the branch portal. Individual users can override this in their own profile settings.
Headquarters Designation
One branch in your organization is designated as the headquarters. The headquarters branch has a special badge on its card and cannot be deleted. The first branch created during onboarding is automatically marked as headquarters, but Organization Admins can change this designation at any time from the settings page.
Deleting a Branch
Organization Admins can delete a branch from its settings page by clicking the "Delete Branch" button. A confirmation dialog ensures this action is intentional.
